Personalized Ruth 2:16 Plaque

My customer who loves sunflowers requested this plaque. She requested a passage from Ruth. I questioned the selection, thinking perhaps she meant the more oft quoted Ruth 1:16 (Where thou goest I will go). Once again my customer set me straight; "The book of Ruth is special to me as my name is Ruth and my mother always said It was my book. I have always tried to live by it. I have recently become a widow. I am responsible for my mother in law. The scripture about the extra handful has a special meaning for me. This year God has given me many extra handfuls through my loss." This is what I am really trying to accomplish with Fishers Laser Carvers. Making things that are especially important to people instead of just giving them a choice of things I like to make. It makes it special. It makes it rewarding for me. Making this plaque I felt was a privilege.
