Personalized Ebenezer Plaque

I received an inquiry to make a plaque with one word, "Ebenezer". I thought to myself, "How odd. Must be fanatical Charles Dickens fans!" My customer taught me. This comes from the book of Samuel 7:12. When God defeated the Philistines, the prophet Samuel marked the spot with a rock. He named the "Ebenezer" which means, "Thus far the Lord has helped us." I found this particularly interesting and strangely inspirational. I have found myself referring to it very often. When I think of the journey I am undertaking and when I begin to worry about future events, the word "Ebenezer" comes to my mind and often to my lips. "Thus far the Lord has helped us."
