Personalized Constitution Preamble Plaque

This is another very popular plaque. I have made this plaque in Curly Maple and Curly Cherry. This was a stunning piece of deep heartwood cherry with a very pronounced grain. The piece looks old, like it has been around for a long time. I think this careful selection of wood separates my plaques from others. Instead of just paying attention to the text and contrast (like a sign), I try to work with the particular wood to let the patterns and grain flow become part of the piece. Every plaque is therefore unique as are every piece of wood and every tree. This gives a unique and timeless pallet for such unique and timeless words as these. This is the preamble to the Constitution of The United States of America.
